TWA Short Story Challenge #7 – Long-Lost Lovers

Short Story Competition #7

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
–Lao Tzu

The subject for this week is love, though the challenge for this week is to test love’s strength. The arena demands  a short story of two lovers who are tragically separated, but then manage to find each other once again. This is a prompt as old as Homer, but we are placing no restraints on your genre or setting. Simply take a shattered couple and make them whole again.

This battle is between arena resident Albert Berg and first-time challenger Amber Keller.

On a side note, we are paying our authors a base level rate at the moment, but if you really enjoyed their story and want to help us make sure these awesome people get paid, please donate below. 75% goes to the author, the rest goes to keeping this place up and running.

  1. I’m not sure if I can wrap my brain around a love story written by Al. Looking forward to trying though.

    • If we know anything about Al, it is that the prompt will be turned into something distinctly his. I can’t wait to read it later.
