Caleb Newell – Author Spotlight

BioPic-001Caleb Newell is a full-time Whovian, a part-time brony and a computer science major in West Virginia. He enjoys peanut butter on his waffles and has a preference for women whose names rhyme with ‘banana a-ritz-a-bits tomb-sun’, and for swords made of diamond.

His favorite algorithm is Quicksort, and his favorite programming language is Java, simply because writing your own GUI from scratch really sucks, unless you are a mathematician, or possibly have no life. He does, however, share a mathematician’s puzzlement concerning Strassen’s algorithm for matrix multiplication.

Caleb is planning on writing out a plan to work on a plan to dominate the world through technology, but is currently preoccupied writing stories for a podcast, getting through Portal 2 and Don’t Starve, and making sure he doesn’t hit his head on door frames (hint: he’s tall.)

Caleb has a love for movie soundtracks, and music in general, all things Marvel (at least on film) and some things caffeinated. He’s never written a novel, unlike some folks around here. But this is only because ‘write a novel’ is right after ‘dominate the world’ on his to-do list. He has, however, had one story proudly featured by the Human Echoes Podcast. Because those dudes are awesome.
